Missouri "Don’t Tread on Me" License Plate bill on Governor’s Desk

MO Gadsen License Plate

This is an update from my earlier posts. The bill, expanded in the Missouri Senate, has passed through the legislature and is sitting on Governor Nixon’s desk.  Nixon is a democrat. He is not in favor of the bill because of its adoption by the Tea Parties across the country.  It’s time for all Missourians to call, fax, e-mail and snail-mail Governor Nixon and urge him to sign this bill.

JEFFERSON CITY | The Missouri House passed on to the governor this morning a bill creating several vanity license plates.

If the bill is signed by Gov. Jay Nixon, Missourians will soon be able to get special plates bearing the Gadsden Flag, the Revolutionary War and modern tea-party icon featuring a rattlesnake and the phrase “Don’t Tread on Me.”

Also available will be plates commemorating Cass County as “the Burnt District” and recipients of military combat action badges.

If you read the comments, you’ll note the rabid opposition by the libs. Talk about hate speech.  Of course, PC rules don’t apply to them.

  1. Met with many legislators at Lincoln Days in KC this weekend. Please contact your Senators and the Gov or call me Tea Party Patriot HQ in Branson 417-337-4802. This has been a big Goal. Help us make it Happen
