I’m sure most of you have heard the phrase, “No good deed goes unpunished.” I forgot that maxim. I should have known better. I am, by temperament, a problem solver. When I see a problem, or an issue, and I have a solution, I often volunteer or make a suggestion.

I need to constantly remind myself to keep my big mouth shut and, going back to my Air Force days, never volunteer.
