Infiltrators

With the beginning of the political season come political tricks. Some would call it political fraud. What is it? Democrats are filing as ‘Pubs in the primary and RINO ‘Pubs conniving with dem political activists to run against ‘Pub incumbents. For democrats, it’s business as usual. For RINOs, it proves they have no core values nor party loyalty.

Here are a few examples. There is an Associate Circuit Judge who was appointed by democrat governor Jay Nixon to fill an unfinished term in the 17th Circuit. This judge had run for office before as a democrat. She’s now filed to run for the full judicial term—as a ‘Pub. Is she now a ‘Pub? No, and I know of no one who does believe she’s had a political change. She’s running because ‘Pubs, for the last decade, have come to power in Cass County. She knows if she runs as a dem she will likely lose—as she did before. If she runs as a ‘Pub, however…well then, it a new ball game.

How about another example? Jeff Cox is Cass County’s Presiding Commissioner. He was elected to fill the uncompleted term as Presiding Commissioner when the previous Commissioner was determined to be ineligible to hold office. Now, Jeff Cox is running for a full term. He’s opposed by a member of the county oligarchy. This week, he picked up another primary opponent.

Who is this opponent? He is another democrat filing as a ‘Pub. This candidate is an unknown. He  recently moved back to Cass County and now lives in one of the few democrat strongholds left in the county. How do we know he’s a democrat? He said so on his Facebook page. He’s has now changed his Facebook page. Here’s a before snapshot.

Keithg_Wunder_1Look in the lower right corner. “Political views: democrat. I looked at his page this morning. He’s created a new FB entry. This one has no political declaration. Yes, he’s a democrat infiltrator masquerading as a ‘Pub to disrupt the ‘Pub primary.

An informant has told me that seven union reps traveled to Jeff City to file for state representatives—as ‘Pubs. I’m not surprised the unions would do this. They are terrified of Right-to-Work. They continue to spew lies about it. The real reason is that Right-to-Work would turn off their money spigot. All that coerced money would dry up. The unions NEED that money. They’re the top funding sources for democrats.

It’s democrat dirty tricks and tactics—business as usual for the party of lies and deceit. What can we do? Out them at every opportunity. Expose their lies and show them for what they are.

Sold out again

BOEHNERThe Drudge headline this morning is uncannily accurate. On it is a photo of John Boehner, looking down his nose at us…just like Obama. Why? Because he, with McConnell, are about to sell us out. Again!

I first saw the news from an email alert by Erick Erickson of Red State. That was followed by others. Then I saw the Drudge headliner and I knew the fix was in. Boehner and McConnell have been embarrassed by the revolt in their ranks by the conservatives. Boehner received no-so-subtle threats to his Speakership. McConnell had a hissy-fit and behind closed doors, cussed Ted Cruz and Mike Lee.

Neither Boehner nor McConnell care about the effects of higher debt, funding Obamacare, the continued degradation of our nation. Nor are they concerned by the growing dictatorial acts by Obama. Boehner and McConnell are firmly entrenched as members of The Ruling Class. Big government is their personal goal as much as it is for Reid, Obama and the dems.

So what is their current plan? To give in and approve a debt-limit increase AND funding Obamacare. No spending cuts. No reining of government. No, just complete capitulation.

House GOP Preparing to Give Up

By: Erick Erickson (Diary)  |  October 10th, 2013 at 04:30 AM

I’m being told by several sources that Speaker Boehner and Majority Leader Eric Cantor are plotting to give up trying to either defund or delay Obamacare.

This comes at the same time the Obama administration admits it will be months before their Obamacare website will be fixed and Kathleen Sebelius is saying if people want out of the mandate they can pay a fine.

Nonetheless, Cantor, Boehner, and with them Mitch McConnell and John Cornyn are expected to cave in and fully fund, unimpeded, Obamacare.

They will work up a new deal that includes a debt ceiling increase with a few sops to the GOP as cover. The only change they are still considering it the medical device tax repeal, which is being heavily lobbied for by former Boehner and McConnell staffers who left for K Street.

A number of Democrats who are recipients of campaign cash along with these Republicans may provide a crony capitalist bridge over which this one tax repeal can pass while leaving in place all the other taxes, penalties, and fees.

But John Boehner, Eric Cantor, Mitch McConnell, and John Cornyn will ensure that Obamacare is fully funded and give the American public no delay like businesses have.

In doing so, they will sow the seeds of a real third party movement that will fully divide the Republican Party.

I’m not so sure about that last paragraph, but Boehner and McConnell are undermining any confidence by the GOP core in the party establishment in Washington. If the rank and file of the GOP have no confidence in their party, what obligation do they have to continue to vote for the party? None.

The election is a week away and the vote fraud has already started

I should not be surprised, it’s what democrats do. Democrat election fraud for 2010 has already started, so says the Drudge Report.

As is my habit, I hit the Drudge Report first thing in the morning.  Today, I see two headlines in red reporting democrat election fraud in North Carolina and and Nevada. In both cases, the fraud was attempted using computerized voting machines.

Such systems make it easy to alter data remotely. In my past life, I designed databases, data systems, data monitoring systems, installed and operated them. Even across international borders.

I don’t trust such systems for such a critical political purpose. They can be hacked or preprogrammed for desired results.  Once the data has been changed, you have no audit trail to determine the original desired result. (Yes, I know that databases can backup each transaction. The flaw in that concept is that data can be altered before it reaches that database. Once in, you cannot tell what that original vote was. And, system administrators can also alter data without leaving traces. I’ve seen it done.) It’s either accept everything at face value or dump it all.

I’m glad my county uses paper ballots.  You mark your choices with a #2 pencil and run the ballot through a scanner.  Old technology to be sure, but that paper ballot still exists and can be used again for recounts.  And—there are audit trails and accounting procedures that have been time-tested to insure fraud is at a minimum IF the election judges and poll watchers do their jobs.

Paper ballots can be numbered and tracked. Theoretically, a computerized voting transaction can too.  But that computerized transaction can also be spoofed and/or altered and by-pass audit procedures remotely and no one at the polls with know the difference.

I love paper ballots.  Long may they be used.

Observations on the 2010 election.

We’re now within two weeks for the 2010 election. In many areas, incumbent democrats are fighting for their political life against conservative usurpers. In generic polls, republican candidates are six to eight points ahead of the democrats. Individually, there are many that are in virtual ties—Reid vs. Angle, Boxer vs. Fiorina, here in Missouri, Ike Skelton vs. Vicky Hartzler.

As I watch these races, I note a common theme. The republicans are running on the issues—Congress’ massive spending, TARP, Obamacare, the failed stimulus bills, all the legislation pushed through congress. In the case of passing Obamacare, the democrats voted its passage in the middle of the night on Christmas Eve during a snowstorm.

The democrats are campaigning on…?

That’s a good question. If they campaign on their legislative efforts this last term, they cut their own throats. Some few are but most seem to go directly to smear campaigns.

Robin Carnahan ran ads about Roy Blunt calling him the most corrupt in Washington (ha!) and accused Blunt of voting for TARP. She seemed unaware, or uncaring perhaps, that her own brother, Russ Carnahan, also voted for TARP. The more she ran those ads, Russ Carnahan’s opponent used them against her brother. That smear campaign backfired. The more she ran it, the further she trailed in the polls. Finally, the democrat national committee pulled her funding to redirect those funds to other, tighter, races.

In Delaware, they called Christine O’Donnell a witch. In California, a Jerry Brown staffer suggested calling Meg Whitman a whore. That staffer was reported to have been Brown’s wife.

It seemed to be a tested, reliable tactic for democrats. They can’t run on the issues, they can’t run on their records, so they dig deep in the mud and start slinging indiscriminately.

I am not non-partisan in this election. I’ve never been non-partisan. The actions of the democrats, their tactics, are exactly what I’ve come to expect from them and THAT is why they need to lose and lose big. The survival of this nation is too critical to leave any democrat, whether political, judicial, or regulatory, in power or in a position of influence. In two weeks, I urge you to vote for your conservative candidate. That candidate may not be a republican, but you can be assured, it won’t be a democrat.

For you local readers, here is a link to the KC Star’s website that gives, surprisingly, an unbiased overview of Vicky Hartzler and a diary covering one of her campaign days.

As a parting comment, I’ve added, what is becoming the national Tea Party logo, the Gadsen Flag, to the top of this post. It seems a woman in TX was blocked from voting because she wore a T-shirt with the Gadsen flag on the front. Michelle Obama can discuss campaign issues in the polling place, illegally, but a Texan can’t wear a T-shirt with a flag on it.

Democrat politics as usual: No votes by Servicemen

In the 2000 national elections, all while the farce in Florida was waging, absentee votes from overseas servicemen were deliberately blocked by the dems.  They are at it again only this time it’s the state of New York.

Election ’10: The de facto disenfranchisement of soldiers by an incompetent Board of Elections is a shameful slap in the face of those who are fighting and dying in two wars to protect our right to vote and theirs.
There’s no excuse for this. None. The failure of the state of New York’s Board of Elections to send out absentee ballots to the state’s military and overseas voters, even after being granted a federal extension under the Military and Overseas Voter Empowerment (MOVE) Act, is made worse by the fact that New York City on 9/11 was the Pearl Harbor of the war on terror.
We agree with New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg on this one when he said: “We send our young men and women overseas to fight and to die for us and we don’t care enough to make sure they get the right to exercise their franchise? That’s what they’re over there fighting for as much as anything else.”
The Department of Justice has belatedly threatened a lawsuit to force compliance with federal law now that it’s become headline news, but the feds should have been on top of this a long time ago. Perhaps DOJ was too busy protecting the right of the New Black Panthers to intimidate voters.
“A credible enforcement operation would have detected a problem on Oct. 2,” says J. Christian Adams, a former Justice Department attorney who gave testimony before the U.S. Civil Rights Commission about DOJ’s refusal to prosecute the Black Panthers. “DOJ didn’t detect it, and almost two weeks later, the situation has become critical in New York and other states. The only place they have sued to enforce the law? Guam.”
