The Anti-God Party

After the Islamic terrorist attack in San Bernardino, CA, yesterday, the dems called for more gun control—more gun control in the most gun, 2nd Amendment repressive state in the union. The GOP Presidential candidates, almost to a man, asked for prayers for the victims and their families.

The MSM, in particular the New York Daily News, mocked them for calling on God for intersession. I can’t say I’m surprised at the vileness coming from the liberals and their propaganda organs. However, as in everything, there are consequences to actions. Ones the dems reject.

WITHOUT CHRISTIAN VOTERS, DEMS DON’T HAVE A PRAYER
Back when Barack Obama could really deliver from the podium, one of his very best lines was about how “we worship an awesome God in the blue states.” The language was no accident. “Awesome God” is the name of one of the most popular evangelical worship songs of the last generation.

In 2004, when Obama gave that speech, it would have been impossible to imagine a sitting U.S. Senator chastising believers for their prayers in the wake of a mass murder. But one did on Tuesday.

Many on the left embraced the idea not that, as Obama has said before, “thoughts and prayers are not enough,” but that prayers were pointless or even damaging because they distracted from what most Democrats believe should be a move to advance extensive gun control.

Those on the right tend to put about as much faith in federal gun laws as atheists put in prayer. So why wouldn’t they pray? Or why wouldn’t believers in both God and gun control do both? Certainly at the scene of the slaughter, survivors didn’t seem to have qualms about prayer.

So what could possess members of a political party, including prominent elected officials, to denounce prayer – and to do so before the means and motives of the killers were still unknown? How does political stupidity of that magnitude come to seem like a good idea?

It turns out that in his famous 2004 speech about “awesome God,” Obama was talking about a dying breed when he spoke of Christian Democrats, especially evangelicals.

As the most recent Pew study on religion in public life tells us, Democrats went from 74 percent Christian in 2007 to 63 percent in 2014. The share of Christian Republicans dropped by 5 points to 82 percent, about the same as the population overall.

But the headline was that for the first time, the single largest group of Democrats on the spectrum of beliefs was “none.” Those professing no faith jumped 9 points in seven years – now 28 percent of Democrats.

As the sorting out of the electorate continues, it is easy to image those trends intensifying. Mitt Romney won 57 percent of the Protestant vote in 2012 (69 percent among white Protestants).

Those numbers will surely intensify in years to come if Democrats remain this hapless and condescending when talking to Christian voters. — FOX Newsletter, December 3rd, 2015

All the while, the MSM ignores the battleground of black-on-black crime in the warzone of Chicago. More people have been killed in Chicago last week, than in San Bernadino. Even as this piece is written, the MSM is calling the shooting in San Bernadino a “work-place” incident.

Gang Aft Agley, Redux

I wrote about Bobby Burns poem, To a Mouse, in a previous post. I’m not discussing poetry today, just the foibles of life and planning and how often plans change for one reason or another. Today is such a day.

Today was supposed to be a, “No post today,” day. I had planned to work on my ham radio station, plant a new ground system for the station and antennas, and play in the dirt planting some posts that will hold up a wire antenna.

Alas, life has intervened. Perhaps, tomorrow. If the rain stays away. Digging some post holes could…be a bit muddy.

George Stephanopolos admitting he paid $75,000 to the Clinton Foundation.

George Stephanopolos has been proven, again, to be a slime ball. He’s been tightly connected to democrat politics and the Clinton Crime Family since he was Bubba’s press secretary in the 1990s.

It all began with a book. A book, Clinton Cash, by Peter Schweizer about the finances of the Clinton Family Foundation and their ‘Global Initiative’ project. The project was, it appears, to be an avenue for the Clintons to receive bribes in exchange for favors.

Stephanopolos was the chosen hitman to attack the book. Of course, he didn’t reveal his current connections to the Clinton Crime Family foundation, nor, until it came out, his contributions, over $75,000, to that foundation.

CNN, who is one of Stephanopolos’ employers, claimed to have no knowledge of the financial connection…until, under pressure, Stephanopolos admitted that he was a contributor to the Clintons. It makes you wonder what Georgie received in return?

By the way, GOPers and candidates are uniting against Stephanopolos. Many will no longer appear on some of the news programs if attended by Stephanopolos. I have heard that CNN will not be hosting the Presidential Debates next year. Perhaps, it will be FOX News instead. Perhaps Megan Kelly will be the Moderator? Works for me!

In case you haven’t heard, Peter Schweizer’s next book is about Jeb Bush. Did you know Bush was a member of a state department sponsored group to help rebuild Haiti after their last massive earthquake? Needless to say, there was massive fraud and embezzlement involved by some of the ‘approved’ contractors, friends of Bill, friends of Hillary, contributors to the Clinton ‘crime’ Family Foundation. Perhaps we shall see what was Jeb’s involvement was to that group?

Let’s take a look at…

…Carly Fiorina. She announced her candidacy for President yesterday. She wasn’t present at the NRA Annual Meeting last month, but she did sent a video which is more than Rand Paul could bother himself with and many present wished Jeb Bush, Lindsay Grahamesty and the Huckleberry had done.

Carly Fiorina, 2016 GOP Candidate for President

She was applauded at the NRA meeting in Nashville as were all who spoke there. I should note the applause for Jeb and Grahamesty was more perfunctory. All in all, Fiorina’s topics from her video was complementary with those of the other conservative speakers.

Today she is making the rounds of the talk shows. She spent some time with Glenn Beck this morning and, I believe, she’ll be with Hannity this afternoon.

I was in the shower, listening, when she said something that I’ve heard no other candidate, certainly not Jeb, Grahamesty nor Huckleberry say. She said the government should be placed on a zero-based budget like the private sector.

What is a zero-based budget? It is a budget where every penny spent must be justified—every penny. No increase from last year. Every year, every penny spent, regardless of the project, must be justified. And if the expense cannot be justified, it is cut!

A business knows how much it can spend. It has a reasonable expectation of its income, and it knows every penny that will be spent. Spending cannot exceed income. Unlike the government, a business cannot arbitrarily print off a few billion dollars if the treasury is low.

I retired from Sprint a few years ago. One of the exercises we expected every Spring was budget submissions. The process was this. The board allocated funds for the company. The executives broke that down by divisions, then to departments, continuing down the the project and, in some cases, the individual.

Next came the project that the business side wanted done. From that point a winnowing process began between the business side that wanted products and the development and operational side who would build, implement and maintain those products. As each product was analyzed and and expensed, those projects went up the management chain to be justified. If the project couldn’t be justified, it was allowed to be resubmitted with a reduced cost or cut. The project cost also includes the cost of the employees who develop, test, implement and maintain the product.

When this idea has been floated before, one complaint is that the process ‘takes too long.’ Yes, it does take a while. Sprint built next years budget, this year. It took about a quarter to get it done and approved. But, during that quarter, we also performed our regular jobs. No missed delivery dates allowed just because we had to work on a budget. In addition, our product cycle from concept to development to production was often much less than a year.

When one is employed in the private sector, you quickly learn what ‘multi-tasking’ really means. It means you deliver all your projects on time and on budget—or you’ll soon be escorted out the door.

Carly Fiorina proposes to do the same to the Federal government. Just imagine the same rules applied to all departments and agencies of the US government! I wonder how well the IRS, EPA, FCC, the NLRB and many of the other departments, like Education and HHS would fare? I would not be surprised if many withered away or were consolidated, at a reduced level, into a governmental department.

I hope other candidates take up Carly’s idea. The country desperately needs it. I have no doubt our federal debt would not last long if Carly’s budgetary rules were imposed on the national government.

Some interesting statistics are coming out after the Baltimore riots. One statistic that I saw said that over 20% of the employed in Baltimore, worked as government employees. Just image what that percentage would be if you included everyone on the welfare rolls. Are not welfare recipients paid by the government? They should be included, too. When you examine the demographics of Baltimore, you will find that half of the Baltimore police are black and most of the elected and appointed officials of Baltimore are black.

With those facts on the table, where is the white oppression? The whites aren’t in control of the city and hasn’t for over thirty years.

The feds have given Baltimore billions, yes, billions with a ‘B’! Where has those billions for education, jobs and infrastructure improvements gone? I wonder how much slithered into private political pockets.

Add to that mess, is this item I came across this morning. The Baltimore PD went to the DoJ for funding of a training program for their street officers. Holder turned them down—but Obama claims it’s all the ‘Pubs fault. One more lie by Obama and the democrats.

Urrgh!

Sometimes listening to the radio is just…depressing…and angering. I listened to the half hour news on a local station, KMBZ-980. They made mention that Michael Brown’s parents were suing the city of Ferguson, Missouri. I had heard that news item before, it wasn’t new. What was angering was KMBZ’s presentation, “…Michael Brown who was killed by a Ferguson police officer…” That slant perpetuated the myth that Michael Brown was not a thug who had just committed strong-arm robbery and was not killed attacking an officer. I understand that radio news must use an economy of words, but saying instead, “…Michael Brown who was shot while attacking a police officer…” is just as economical and much more truthful and accurate? No, KMBZ chose otherwise, it’s easier to slant the report, omit a fact, and perpetuate a myth.

So much for truth and accuracy in the local news. Another reason why I no longer subscribe to the KC ‘Red’ Star, nor watch local TV news. Nothing but lies and liberal propaganda

The Bush campaign continues to falter. Bush, like Clinton, is being his own worse enemy. It was bad enough Bush tried to copy Walker’s presentation style at the NRA Annual Meeting—taking his jacket off to appear to be a “good ol’ boy.” It didn’t work in Nashville. Now Bush is using double-ought to shoot himself in the foot once more.

Jeb Bush: NSA surveillance ‘the best part’ of Obama administration

– The Washington Times – Wednesday, April 22, 2015

Former Florida Gov. and likely presidential candidate Jeb Bush said Tuesday “the best part” of the Obama administration is its continuance of the National Security Agency’s controversial spying program.

“I would say the best part of the Obama administration would be his continuance of the protections of the homeland using, you know, the big metadata programs, the NSA being enhanced,” Mr. Bush, 62, said on the Michael Medved radio show, CNN reported.

“Even though he never defends it, even though he never openly admits it, there has been a continuation of a very important service, which is the first obligation I think of our national government is to keep us safe,” he said.

Bush’s statement begs the question, “Safe for whom and from whom?” More and more, the government appears to be more concerned about US than THEM!

C’mon, Jeb. Admit it. You’re a radical, liberal, statist masquerading as a ‘Pub. I notice Rubio is climbing the polls. Statements like yours is one reason why the conservatives are rising in the polls while the establishment can no longer fake polls that you lead the ‘Pub candidates.

If you fail to understand history…

…you’re a target of any fool blathering nonsense that comes down the road. There’s more truth in that statement than many people realize.

Obama spoke at the National Prayer breakfast and made a fool of himself. That, in itself, is not surprising. What was surprising was his logic that gave a pass to the atrocities committed by ISIS.

What did Obama do? He compared the atrocities committed by ISIS to the Crusades, the last Crusade occurred around 700 years ago, and the Inquisition. The worst acts by the Inquisition occurred around 500 years ago, although the office of the Inquisition wasn’t abolished until after the Napoleonic Wars. The ISIS atrocities occur NOW!

Let’s take a look at the Crusades. There wasn’t just one. There were several, including one called “the Children’s Crusade.”

First.Crusade.Map

Map of Europe and the Mediterranean Lands, Circa 1097.

The first Crusade began around 1095 supposedly in response to a plea for help by the remnant of the Byzantine Empire. The Muslim Seljuk Turks had invaded the Byzantine Empire and the Empire was losing. The Empire lost the battle of Manzikirt in 1071. After that battle, the Turks proceeded to seize most of what is known today as Turkey.

The Catholic Church in Rome gave little thought to the Byzantine request. The “Eastern” Empire formed when the Roman Empire split. It also created a schism in the Catholic Church. The Roman Catholic Church, under the Pope, remained in Rome. The Eastern Church, later known as the Greek Orthodox Catholic Church, resided in Byzantium, modern day Istanbul.

According to many historians of that period, the pleas from Byzantium were not the primary motivator of the West. After winning the battle of Manzikirt, the Seljuk Turks proceeded to consolidate their new territory. They did so by slaughtering any Christian, Pilgrim and Jew they found or forcing them to convert to Islam. They had done the same, previously, when the Seljuk Turks seized Jerusalem a few years earlier.

In 1065 the Seljuks began a campaign of persecution against Christian pilgrims in the Holy Land in which the Bishop of Bamberg and 12,000 pilgrims were massacred by the Muslims only two miles from Jerusalem. — Crisis Magazine.

News traveled slowly in those days. The massacre at Jerusalem was still fresh in the minds of the Cardinals and the Pope in Rome when the plea from Byzantine Emperor Alexius I arrived. By that time, the Church was already in the process of calling for a Crusade to free Jerusalem and resume the Pilgrimages.

In all, there were eight crusades from the first in 1095 until the last in 1279 with the Invasion of Tunisia by King St. Louis IX of France.

The later Hapsburg-Ottoman Wars are thought by some to be a continuation of the Crusades by the Muslims of the Ottoman Empire. The Muslim invasions of Europe continued for another 300 years after the Eighth Crusade culminating with the Battle of Vienna in 1683. Remember that date—1683! It was just 100 years before the end of the American Revolution. Muslim aggression was more recent that many now realize.

Not only more recent, but also much earlier than many know. In fact, Muslim forces invaded Europe well before the first Crusade, seizing modern day Spain and marching deep into France.

The Crusades were the result of Muslim acts of atrocity and in response to Muslim invasions of Europe. How many know that today? Is it being taught anywhere? It was a fifteen-minute discussion when I took Western European History in college.

I had intended to include a history and background of the Inquisition but that will have to wait for another day. Just one bit of information, the Inquisition wasn’t just in Spain. It covered most of Europe and throughout the Holy Roman Empire.

If/When you listen to Obama’s pack of lies from the National Prayer Breakfast, read this and know the truth.

It’s done, verdict announced

The Ferguson verdict was announced last night. To no one’s great surprise, Darren Wilson was not charged. In fact, the prosecutor released all the evidence collected, much more than normal, to the media. The evidence was overwhelming. Michael Brown attacked Wilson, not once but twice. Wilson defended himself and shot Brown.

http://bcdownload.gannett.edgesuite.net/ksdk/35121359001/201411/35121359001_3908647229001_459544480-10.jpg

Violence erupts in Ferguson: Fire, looting, arrests

But that doesn’t make any difference to those who are determined to riot regardless of the verdict. Before the night was over, thirty-one people had been arrested, numerous businesses were looted, a dozen buildings, along with at least two police cars, were burned, and shots were fired. None of those shots were fired by police. All were fired by members of the mob.

Missouri Govenor Jay Nixon sent members, upwards of 1,000, of the National Guard to St. Louis. However, he didn’t release them to quiet the rioting until almost midnight, well after much of the damage had been done.

I should not be but I’m continually amazed at Nixon’s incompetence and stupidity. What Nixon should have done was to deploy those Guard troops around the expected hotspots well before the announcement. With them in place, with orders to stop any looting and burning at first sight. And, if they were fired upon by the mob, to return fire.

For those of you too young to remember the LA riots of the ’60s, rioters and snipers fired upon National Guardsmen from the roofs and upper stories of buildings. The Guard returned fire with vehicle-mounted machine guns. In some cases turning the buildings into sieves. The sniping and rioting quickly stopped.

(I tried to find some links for the Guard responding to the Watts riots, but couldn’t find any that reported the events accurately. I remember those 1965 riots quite well. I was in college at the time taking a modern history class. We analyzed the riots closely. Now, some fifty years later, little can be found on the internet about the riots in Los Angles, the Watts Riots, that hasn’t been tainted with liberal viewpoints. The use of National Guardsmen has been painted as a counter-riot when it was not.

I remember watching live TV when a Guard jeep driving slowly down a street on patrol was taken under fire by several snipers on rooftops. The Guardsmen returned fire using their personal arms and the jeep-mounted machine gun. The sniping quickly ended with the snipers dead or having fled. The rioting ended soon after the arrival of the National Guard. Many of the Guardsmen were also combat veterans.

That real story can’t be found today. It’s been censored by the left.)

The bottom line is that the liberal government of St. Louis and Ferguson, abetted by Governor Jay Nixon, allowed the rioting to happen. Most of the damage was to locally-owned residents of Ferguson, minority owners. The liberal politicians of St. Louis and Jeff City, the leaders who were obligated to act and prevent violence, did nothing.

Al Sharpton and other thugs are on the way to Ferguson. They have no intention of quieting the situation. They will do anything and everything to cause the situation to get worse. The greater the disturbance the more their agenda will be enhanced. If Nixon and the St. Louis Police Chief were smart, they’d meet these thugs at the airport gate and put them on the next plane out from St. Louis to any destination.

But, they won’t. The trouble in Ferguson will continue until someone in authority gets fed up and deals with the situation. In the end, Ferguson will be a burned-out hole in St. Louis County. It will be area where no business will come, where insurance companies will not insure existing businesses and without insurance, no business can survive. Jobs will be lost, more than have already been lost, and Ferguson will turn into another blighted area, with no jobs and no hope of jobs.

In the coming months and years, residents will leave. None of them will return. Ferguson and the surrounding area will turn into another Detroit littered with abandoned buildings amid weeds, debris and crumbling infrastructure.

Why did this happen? Because there exists a culture of self-destruction that is dependent on the largess of government, governments, local, state and federal that really does not care what happens to the residents as long as they vote for democrats, a party that keeps them enslaved. Just look at the history of Detroit for the last fifty years and you will see the future of Ferguson and probably St Louis.

The Ferguson situation isn’t whites oppressing blacks. There are more blacks in Ferguson, by a large majority, than whites. No, the residents of Ferguson chose their government, did it to themselves. There is a lesson there in full display. Few in Ferguson and elsewhere, will learn from it. It isn’t politically correct.

Infiltrators

With the beginning of the political season come political tricks. Some would call it political fraud. What is it? Democrats are filing as ‘Pubs in the primary and RINO ‘Pubs conniving with dem political activists to run against ‘Pub incumbents. For democrats, it’s business as usual. For RINOs, it proves they have no core values nor party loyalty.

Here are a few examples. There is an Associate Circuit Judge who was appointed by democrat governor Jay Nixon to fill an unfinished term in the 17th Circuit. This judge had run for office before as a democrat. She’s now filed to run for the full judicial term—as a ‘Pub. Is she now a ‘Pub? No, and I know of no one who does believe she’s had a political change. She’s running because ‘Pubs, for the last decade, have come to power in Cass County. She knows if she runs as a dem she will likely lose—as she did before. If she runs as a ‘Pub, however…well then, it a new ball game.

How about another example? Jeff Cox is Cass County’s Presiding Commissioner. He was elected to fill the uncompleted term as Presiding Commissioner when the previous Commissioner was determined to be ineligible to hold office. Now, Jeff Cox is running for a full term. He’s opposed by a member of the county oligarchy. This week, he picked up another primary opponent.

Who is this opponent? He is another democrat filing as a ‘Pub. This candidate is an unknown. He  recently moved back to Cass County and now lives in one of the few democrat strongholds left in the county. How do we know he’s a democrat? He said so on his Facebook page. He’s has now changed his Facebook page. Here’s a before snapshot.

Keithg_Wunder_1Look in the lower right corner. “Political views: democrat. I looked at his page this morning. He’s created a new FB entry. This one has no political declaration. Yes, he’s a democrat infiltrator masquerading as a ‘Pub to disrupt the ‘Pub primary.

An informant has told me that seven union reps traveled to Jeff City to file for state representatives—as ‘Pubs. I’m not surprised the unions would do this. They are terrified of Right-to-Work. They continue to spew lies about it. The real reason is that Right-to-Work would turn off their money spigot. All that coerced money would dry up. The unions NEED that money. They’re the top funding sources for democrats.

It’s democrat dirty tricks and tactics—business as usual for the party of lies and deceit. What can we do? Out them at every opportunity. Expose their lies and show them for what they are.
